The sheath clamp is a metal part designed to press the sheath along the tubes of the bicycle frame. There are several diameters depending on the tube concerned. For older bikes, the most common diameters are 25.4 m and 28.6 mm, i.e. the diameter of the top tube and the diameter of the seatpost tube.
