Silver aluminium V-Brakes
V-Brakes are a rim braking system consisting of two articulated arms, activated by a cable connected to the brake lever. The brake pads press against the rim to slow the bike, with a return spring to snap them back into place. They offer good braking power and are easy to maintain. Common on mountain bikes and city bikes, they are light and efficient.
